First of all, setup your capture device (camera). Go to Settings > Device Setup and choose your capture device (camera).

Local Picture Server enables everyone to see your pictures from your camera right after starting WebCam just by typing your IP-address in the browser.

If you don't know your IP address, go to Settings > Picture Server. Here you can see list of your available IP's, which you can copy to clipboard. If your friend can not see you - try next IP address on the list, external IP is the best solution (external IP does not start with 192.x.x.x).

Default port number is 80 (which is default for webservers), if this port is already taken choose any other number.

If you want to change Port for Picture Server or Refresh Rate - you have to press "Apply new settings to Picture Server".

Please note that when you change the refresh rate - you (or your friend) will have to refresh their webpage with your picture to apply new options.

If you are behing a firewall and/or want to upload pictures from your camera on to your webserver, you have to enable FTP Upload.

Go to Settings > FTP Upload and enter your server address, username, password, folder and picture filename.

Then enable Upload Settings and turn on "Capture every" and choose how fast should program upload picture from webcamera to web server.

You can restrict image capture to certain hours (i.e. 6am to 10pm). Schedule a time frame to prevent webcam from capturing images at night when its dark, or if you want privacy or just simply want your camera off every day on certain hours.

You can save image files in chronological order. They will be saved in "camxx.jpg" format where xx will be the image number (example: cam01.jpg will be latest shot, cam02.jpg is previous and so on).

You can enable themes on FTP server (your webpage), and choose a filename for a theme. Default name is "index.htm". When theme is enabled, and you press "Upload Theme" in "Themes" menu, the whole theme is uploaded to FTP with selected filename.

Both features (Picture Server & FTP Upload) can work simultaneously.

On the Cam monitor you can instantly turn those features on and off.
